About whale watching
Every year, when winter arrives, the humpback whales come to the sea area of the Kerama Islands. They stay and eat rich food during the summer time at northern sea of the surrounding of Aleutian Islands, and after for breeding activities they come back to the warm area sea of Okinawa.
Let's participate to the whale watching and why not to observe the life of the humpback whales? Caudal fin hitting and jumping, you can see the magnificent mystery habitat of the humpback whales, the giant sea mammal which the body weight is 30 tons, 15 meters long.

How to find them at the sea
The humpback whales can be found easily at the sea because they blow high up almost right angle, and move up and down the caudal fin before they submerge deep, and also they have a unique showy shape.
They are also called as "romping whales" because, of their various behavior and movements in between the whales family. Jumping and the movement they make hitting the water with the caudal fin and the pectoral fin making loud noise to let the sound rich distant places away of many kilometers. Their swimming speed is slow, and easy to get closer, sometimes they come closer.
