-Whole Channel- Tokashiki Festival is the big event, which tells you the real summer season of tourism in Tokashiki Island. This festival is planned by Tokashiki Chamber of Commerce for gathering the tourists. All the islanders join the festival to perform in the event facilities. You may see the islandersÕ talented performance such as, Sanshin,Okinawan instrument rendition by children, Eisa dancing, Kacyaashii dancing and also live show by artists in Okinawa at the stage, fireworks and laser show at night. The festival can be enjoyable to all the generation. Drum festival, the eve of festival, you can see the stirring rendition by ÒKeramadaiko drumÓ which group is one of the main force members to promote island entertainment. The drum make the mountain echo with sounds, and the sound echo as if spread to the beyond of horizon It is held at the end of July.
