Opening Ceremony for Whale Channel

Opening Ceremony for Whale Channel is the essential part of Tokashiki tourism. It is held at the end of April every year. People are thankful for their beautiful ocean. The ceremony is followed by various activities such as live concerts by guest musicians, tug of war, treasure hunt, and so on. Both islanders and tourists are welcome to join the event.
